Gary A. Pichney, D.P.M., is a Board Certified Podiatric Surgeon who has specialized training and expertise in forefoot, rear foot, and ankle surgical reconstruction, sports medicine and injury, and diabetic limb salvage.
Dr. Pichney received his doctor of podiatric medicine degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and then completed his Foot & Ankle Surgical Residency at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. He is an adjunct faculty member at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and has been published in the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery. He was appointed the first Chief of Podiatric Surgery at what is now Baltimore-Washington Medical Center. In addition, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Prior to joining The Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy, Dr. Pichney had been in private practice in Baltimore County since 1994. Dr. Pichney will continue to serve patients in Baltimore County at the Lutherville Personal Physicians location.
